Question Posted Wednesday June 18 2008, 11:01 pm

My best friend since 1st grade has a huge crush on a guy that's 22 years old and she's only 14. I know it's wrong but I don't think she does. She think's she love's him and she cant keep her mind off him. She told me thing's that him and her have done. She told me that one time they went walking and they started making out and he pulled her shorts and underwear down and fingered her. They kiss and hug when they are alone and when they hug he always grab's her boob. And to top it all off. He has a girlfriend, and his girlfriend is also one of my friends and i dont want either one to get hurt. Please help me.

First of all, What is happening is wrong! You are correct to be concerned. He is a grown man and she is still a child. He knows this is wrong too! She may think she loves him, but she is really young and does not realize that that is not the case. If they are having sexual relations, then it is most likely illegal. They are having sexual relations if he is touching her in her private places. If you friend that is his girlfriend is the same age as she is, then that in wrong too. He is an adult and he is taking advantage of children. Even though you and your friends may seem grown up sometimes, you are still considered children in the eyes of the law.
If you want to get her away from this guy, who is obviously a pervert, then you need to tell someone. you can tell your parents, her parents, a teacher, a school counselor, or someone in authority. I know this is something that will be difficult to do, but it is not right what he is doing to her. You don't have to tell anyone that you told. She is making a mistake that could hurt her in the long run. There is a reason that they make laws like to protect children from older predators like him and it is so the child does not get hurt. I hope that I could help, if there is anything else I can do let me know. Good luck.
