facebook notifications through email

is there anyway to stop the emails that come to me from facebook saying that someone sent me a funwall post or a message or whatever? i really want them to stop.

Here is the easy and safe way o do it.
First log into facebook and click on ACCOUNT at the top. Then click on the NOTIFICATIONS tab. Just uncheck all the ones you dont want to recieve emails for. Hope you understand this.

Wait until you get another email from Facebook,
click it open, and at the bottom it should say something along the lines of "This email was sent by [application here] . You can disable emails here."
click on the "disable emails here" and they will be gone. :)
