I have Verizon now and I'm thinking of switching to AT&T (Cingular)..Tell me..How good is the service? The few people I have talked to said it was WAY better than Verizon and they liked it alot.
What are some things you like about Cingular?
What are some things you don't like?
I'm also considering buying an Iphone. So if any of you out there in Advicenators land own an Iphone, tell me all about it. Like, what plan you have and how much your bill is (estimate) every month. If I switch, I'll have to pay the bill myself, so, I need an idea of what I'm getting myself into.
If I stay with Verizon and update our phones, I'm looking at a Blackberry Pearl. However, the Blackberry feels too business-y, and I'm not sure that you can have real songs as your ringtone. I'm HIGHLY interested in having real songs as my ringtone, rather than the polyphonic crap they have.
Please feel free to give as many details as your heart desires! I'm desperate.

Honestly, verizon gets signal in the most randomest place so it's good, but overall their phones cannot match up to the wow factor of cingular. I own a iPhone. It costs me about $40 for unlimited internet + texting each month. I never really had a problem with cingular so I can't really tell you what I don't like about it. Just to warn you, in the iPhone you cannot add custoimized ringtones unless you jailbreak it. ( jailbreak meaning hacking ).
Good luck!

russianspy1234 answered Saturday June 14 2008, 1:55 pm: what service is best depends on the area, where i live (california), ATT is far superior to verizon and sprint. from what i hear, ATT is great everywhere else as well. i dont have an iphone, but from ive seen and heard, its overhyped. amazon has really good deals on phones, for all services, so you can check out att and verizon there.
the biggest advantage off att is the rollover minutes, so you keep what you buy.
