Question Posted Monday June 9 2008, 2:15 am

I know this guy who's coming home from his mission on tuesday. I plan to ask him on a date on wednesday. I knew him for several years before he left and he was always nice to me and flirted a little bit. But he was one of my older brother's best friends. He and my brother are still friends, but not close. I'm moving across the country in two weeks. Is it bad form to ask him out this soon, even if I won't be here much longer?

I think it is okay for you to ask him out. Just make it kind of casual, like a movie or something like that. It is not like you are making a huge commitment (like marriage) to thi guy. Just have some innocent fun.
