my bestfriend is almost an overdoser

Question Posted Tuesday June 3 2008, 6:44 pm

Pills are my bestfriends life. she takes so many pain killers more than i thought possible. she says its all the pain in her life pain of heartbreak, screw ups and anything else. she is always gone everyday out with her friends or anyone, but she is totally different if she doesnt take any pills that day. she is just like staring into space and very sad looking and feels empty. i can always see deep pain or sorrow in her eyes even if shes so happy. she used to cut for two years and smoke for like half a year but stopped both. she drinks but refuses to get drunk she has like one every few days but I still dont want her to have any. She says shed die with out them but she can also die with them. She is a very strong in emotion spirit or physical and pretty and a great girl and the nicest girl youd ever meet and is always there for me. she gets along with anybody and is so easy to make friends with altho some people are afraid of her she wears black with colored hair but its not chains or spikes or anything so who cares. so thankful im trying to help and she stopped the other things with the help of her old best friend but he hates her now and they loved eachother. She is a depressed 14 year old girl. Always yelled at for what she wears wich she says is the worst thing someone can do to her, she wears black everyday but it doesn’t look bad. Any advice about her or for her?

You need to find her help. Have her talk to a counselor at school or something. She shouldn't be taking pain killers. I've seen people die from those. You need to be there for her. Its really good that your trying to help but you need to find an adult she can trust. She must be going through alot and its really tough. But she shouldn't be taking pain killers. Its really not good. Your best friend might not live because of that. Please try and get her help.

GET HER HELP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!! CRISIS LINES COUNCELLORS AT SCHOOL, HER PARENTS, OR A GROWN UP SHE TRUSTS. Pain killers are a serious thing, that could kill you at any time. Taking too much can stop your heart. It may not be able to keep up with the adreneline rush. Fourteen is too young to even know what pain killers are. Im eighteen, have never tryed drugs, but i know what pain killers and other drugs can do. I watch renegadepress.com,degrassi,and these shows deal with real teenage situations includin the one your friend is in right now. My advice, is get her help BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. because in the end, all can not end well.
