Phones..indonesia?

Question Posted Tuesday June 3 2008, 3:13 pm

My dad's going to Indonesia in like two weeks, and I was wondering, are phones cheap there?
Like if he buys the phone, and I put in my sim card like I would if I bought a phone here.
(I live in belgium btw. I don't have a contract thing..whatever they are)

So yeah, are they cheaper there?
Like if I asked him to get a LG Shine for me. Here they are about €150..is it cheaper there?

well belian money is definetlet worth more than indonesian money
also i don't think it would be east to find a phone over there because there are a lot of bootleg ones so be careful
you probably can just buy the phone there and pay for service in belgiam
but i don't know because i live in america and i know that indonesian money is worth way less than american money so i don't know about belgium money! my family is from indo so i guess they are right
