Tongue piercing!

Question Posted Monday June 2 2008, 1:10 pm

I got my tongue pierced on friday. That night I went to a free house party.
I did the exact opposite of what I was told.
I drank a lot, mostly vodka and Jack Daniels.
I ended up making out for about 2 hours with my boyfriend.
And then finally I gave him head.
He has a Prince Albert piercing.
This all irritated my piercing.
I feel really stupid.
And it feels like there's a whale in my mouth.
What can I do to make my tongue better.
Don't tell me to take it out :)
I know there's other options.

Frozen slushies, you can hold them on your tongue and let them melt. Rinse like you are supposed to from now on and don't do things on the "Don't do" list. Stick to a mostly liquid diet for the next couple of days. I used to get this a lot when I owned a tattoo and piercing shop. They don't give you the "don'ts" for the fun of it.

You might want to try mouthwash, I hate to say this...but they tell you what not too do for a reason. I would highly suggest getting it checked out because it is possible your mouth could get an infection. If they say you should remove it then perhaps it's the best thing too do. It's better to be on safe than sorry.
