Suffolk County is a junior college. You can get your associate's degree (after two years) but many people choose to pursue their bachelor's degree (takes four years, about, at a four year college). People that want to get a bachelor's degree go to Suffolk for two years and then transfer somewhere else for two years. If you want to be an astronomer, you will have to have at least a bachelor's degree. ]
