Recently I've had a lot of trouble trying to decide what i want to do with my life. I've always wanted to sing, but i hate to admit i've lost my love for it. It became so much about the appearance and what people think. How do i get over that, and get back to doing what i love, the music? it's been so long sense I was actually involved in any live performances, how do i get over my new found insecurities?
By nature, I'm a bit stage fright. But whenever focus falls on me, I'm generally quite out spoken. This is because whenever I have to perform in some way, I just ignore the fact other people are there and that helps me focus.
There's an old irish proverb that says it best: 'dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening, and live each day to its fullest.'

There will always be people who don't like you and if you except all of that you can be yourself and love what you do. There is no magical way to make your insecurities disapear just believe in your self and remember that your voice and talent if what makes you beautiful. If you walk with confidence it will show. Good luckl with your future. Do what you love and don;t care about what ANYBODY thinks. Be Yourself! [ Bella12's advice column | Ask Bella12 A Question ]
