"love of mine" song

what's the name/artist of the song that goes "lovee of minee, {i don't know the words}" and there's maybe a french word? it's an older song, 40s/50s i would say? it's a slow song, very soft with a deep woman's vocals i would say. it's probably in a lot of movies, i just can't figure out all the lyrics and who it's by

I was thinking Frank Sinatra until you said womens vocals. I went to youtube, and found this. Dennis Brown - This Love Of Mine

But that is also a guy.

Try google, I typed in love of mine and got a ton of old singers, but not a lot of women names.


If it is an older song try asking grand-parents or senior citizens around you. Sorry for not much help!
