I miss GCSE Art :)
Noone has answered so I thought I'd give it a go.
If you haven't already, instead of searching for "African Masks", try "African Tribal Art", as masks will be included.
You've picked quite a broad category, as there are different types of masks, as you should know.

This is a good site for describing them etc, as well as:

Just to point out, when you research artists, they don't have to be Just African mask ones. Find other African artists (or ones which aren't African) and explain how their work is like some of the masks you've researched, like Fanizani Akuda and Bernard Matemera's work (they are African).
Research is the main part where you get your marks, so the more, the merrier. and it doesn't have to tie in COMPLETELY with what you're doing. The assessors like to see how you've thought for yourself instead of just copying things from the internet and books. ]
