hey! so I'm 15f. Well, I have friends, but not like, best friends. If it was 3 of us hanging out, I'm pretty much like the third wheel. And I try to put myself in the conversations, but somehow I just can't stay in them. And my friends, most of the time, put me down. Not in a bad way, like making fun of me, but their not trying to hurt my feelings, their just joking around. But sometimes it gets to me. And during the summer, I barely hang out with any of my friends, but they all hang out with each other. Sure, a friend and I might go shopping like, twice, if even that, and I just feel like I don't have a good relashonship with friends. I feel like I have to try to hard to even talk to them. And I'm not considering changing friends at all because I've already tried that and it didn't work out too well. Most of the time, my friends are awesome, but theres just those times where they don't even notice me. Like, if there was a song to describe me it would probably be... "All She Wrote" by Ross Copperman. Listen too it. And sometimes, I don't even mind being alone. I'm an only child. And I've learned to help myself a lot. But I still want to just to be able to do things with my friends over the summer. I only have 3 days of school left, and want this summer to be one of my best. I can pretty much do things only on the weekend. I have ideas what to do already, like bowling, movies, shopping, and stuff. I just need advice of how get friends to do things with me. I don't want to loose my relashonships with them when we go to school next year. Thanks so much!!
Cmilner1607 answered Thursday May 15 2008, 10:24 pm: all you can do is ask them to join you with doing something. give them an advance notice though. this way, they can't say they have plans already. make yourself as available as possible too. let them know you are able to hang anytime on the weekends, and willing to.
