Lip Pipercing Aftercare.
I Honestly I Have No Idea Where To Put This Question Under.
Anyways I Recently had my lip pierced [Its located on the left side].
Can anyone [especially people who have lip piercings] give me any Accurate info on how to clean it,what to use & etc.
I've visited different sites but they all say different things and im very confused.
Any advice that will help me out will be great.!

When I got mine done the guy who did it gave me an aftercare sheet.
Wash it with saltware a few times a week for the first couple of weeks and then after that you shouldnt really need to do it. It stops it from getting infected.
Wash around the stud or ring, you dont need to take it out.
I clean my ring every month or so using a cotton bud and salt water and then I rinse it under the tap.
DO NOT use some kind of disinfectant treatment, my friend did that and he burnt his mouth really badly.

well when i got mine i was told to just rinse my mouth with listerine mouthwash about 3 times a day and to clean the ring thing with alcohol in the morning and in the night to disinfect it.
mine was cool and it never got infected.
