Receiving Long Distance Calls

Question Posted Saturday May 10 2008, 2:51 pm

I've asked a lot of people about this but I just can't get a clear answer.

If my friend lives in England, and I live in the United States....if he calls ME on my cell phone, do I get charged long distance fees?

I have Verizon Wireless. I know I don't get international calling. But people have told me that it doesn't matter as long as HE calls me and that I will only get charged for the minutes, NOT long distance charges. Is this true??

And please don't say, "Ask your company."

Well most likely, you will be charged too.
To be honest, most international calls are charged to both people.
Unless you have some expensive deal...
