I'm in a difficult, awkward situation. You see, I work at a veterinary hospital that is about thirty minutes from home. I absolutely love working there: the office, the girls, the vet. In fact, the vet who hired me is sort of like a second dad to me (I knew him long before he hired me). I only work there a couple of times a week, but they want me to start working full time as soon as I can because two (of the 4 people that work there, not including me) of the girls are pregnant and one is having her baby soon so she'll be out of work for a while, and second is having her baby a few months after that, so we lose two full time employees.
What's the problem? I just got a job offer from another vet who treats my bunny. He is super duper nice, I really like him, the girls that work there are sweet, too (I think, I don't really know them). The hospital is literally seconds away from my house (so I won't have to make a thirty minute drive just to get to work). I know I will be payed more than at my current job (there I get 7.50, minimum wage). Basically, I know I'm going to love it there.
But... I can't just dump the other hospital. I mean they taught me all I know today, I've bonded with all of them, and plus they NEED me because two of the girls won't be able to work, and another is moving to South America. Also, although I love working here, I won't love it as much as working at the new place, I just know that.
Please help me make a wise decision.

I think that if it'd be better for you then why not? You can't go through life trying to make everyone else happy. I think that you should just tell the other people that you can't keep driving this far out and ask maybe if you can work once a week or less than part time. They'll understand. Expessically, since gas prices are riseing like crazy you can't keep driving that far just to work when you could just drive or walk seconds like you said. All in all the disition has to be made from you. Make a pro and con list of both jobs. And the place where your working now can't expect you to work there forever you have to move on sometime right?
hope i helped
