okay this is gonna be really long. okay so ive been dating this guy for a year and a half. but 7 months ago he moved to florida and i live in texas. but he is moving back in late summer. but after he moved i became good friends with one of his friends. he is very nice and sweet and i like him. i have also heard from some of his friends that he likes me. part of me feels it is because my boyfriend is so far and he is here. a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend told his ex that he still liked her and she told me this happened. he told me it was because he thought about her but he knew he didnt like her and he wanted to stop thinking about her. i truly do love my boyfriend and i plan to be with him a long time. if i told my friend i liked him would i stop like my boyfriend did? or should i just ignore these feelings until my boyfriend comes back? or should i try to be with him?

I think you should dump him, and go out with the guy you truley like. I know it may be hard for you when your current boyfriend moves back next year, but the best thing to do is to still be friends afterwards. This way you can be with a guy who likes you for you, a guy who's close by, a guy who's NOT going to practically cheat on you. Now this is my opinion, But whatever you do NEVER EVER use this new guy to make your curent bf jelous OR the other way around. [ anniemaylane's advice column | Ask anniemaylane A Question ]
