how do you know if someone is your friend?

Wow, I hope that the person below me is kidding..

1] They do favors for you. You're sick one day, and they bring you your homework.

2] You can talk to them without feeling judged.

3] When you talk to them, they truly listen, they keep their eyes on you and are focused. They don't get distracted.

4] They will tell you personal things about themselves without hesitation.

5] When they say that they'll call you back, they will. They will put in the effort into your friendship. If you guys are supposed to hang out, they will call you ahead of time to make sure that you know where they're at, etc. If you can't hang out one day, they will continuously ask you, they will make an effort.
