PREGNANT DREAMS

Question Posted Monday April 28 2008, 3:29 pm

i have this reoccurring dream that i get pregnant and i dont remember being pregnant..its like i just had a baby in a day. also in the dream i dont tell my boyfriend im pregnant. i just leave him and dont talk to him and then my mom makes me call him and tell him after the baby is born. is this dream because im scared life will go to fast ? but i dont understand why i wouldnt tell my boyfriend. in real life lately it seems like life is zooming by and i dont have time to enjoy it. im thinking that maybe im having this dream because a few of my friends have babies and it seems like just yesterday they were only a few months pregnant and now already they baby is almost a year old. i feel like when i get pregnant in the future i wont have time to enjoy it?

well im my opinon i think you are havin this dream because you are scared of growing up and what life has to bring you so dont never be scared to grow up and maybe its a sign to tell you to stop hanging out wit you pregnant friends before you end up like them

yes, your friends being pregnant may definitely make an impact on your dreams. your dreams, are in essence, a projection of your true concerns from your waking life. they cannot be controlled, but merely influenced by what's going on in your waking life. sometimes, dreams have NOTHING do with one's waking life, but many times there are symbols present in one's dreams that help uncover mysteries situations in one's waking life, and help one to draw conclusions.

" To dream that you are pregnant, symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. This may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal."

i think, based on what you said about life going by very quickly, you're getting this dream because you feel pressured in some way to grow up and become an adult. you are most-likely a teenager, getting older with each passing year, and as a teen gets older, he or she experiences more and more stress and pressure to grow up and go to college and have a family, etc.

i cannot tell you exactly why you wouldn't tell your boyfriend in your dream. perhaps it was a negligible detail, or maybe it was because you were scared in your dream. you didn't mention having any relationship / trust issues with him, but if you do (even the slightest bit, or because of a past experience with him), that may definitely have contributed to why that happened in your dream.
