Maybe give some free advice about: Theater?

Find a qualified vocal instructor who specializes in Musical Theatre training. You will find that louder is not always the correct way to use your voice but that good breath control will add volume to your singing. Louder sometimes results in damaging your vocal chords and not improving anything.
Also look for an amateur theatre group to get involved with. If you have a good vocal range and can project a positive personality, you may find yourself cast in a show which provides you with some free singing lessons. It will also help you to establish whether Musical Theatre is really what you wish to do.

That is my friend's website about singing. It offers some great tips ;]

Here are some of them:

You do not necessarily need a voice coach.

Drinking water is great.

Singing a cappella has nothing to do with the way that you use your voice.

Now for my advice. I have answered these quations numerous times, so I hope that you don't mind me copying and pasting my own answers.

Have you ever heard the phrase "Practice makes permanent?" Regardless, it really does, so you need to learn how to read and write music.

There's a lot more, but just read her site; she knows what she's talking about =]
