Colored advice (hair dye)
I want to put highlights in my hair. I don't want a simple color like blonde or anything. I want like pink or green or blue (etc.) HIGHLIGHTS. can someone please help me?

i just got purple put in my hair for prom,
if you want a picture.. then ask me in my inbox.
but anyways, my hair is dark dark brown,
so everytime i've gotten a wild color highlight put in, i've had to bleach the hair first.
they just put a cap on your head and pull random hairs through, then bleach that, and then put the color dye on it.
last year when i got semi-permanent she locked it in twice, which is like sealing it so it won't wash out, and it didn't wash out for a long time, but when it did it was just blonde highlights. still looked good though.
thats probably what they will do to yours because your hair is kind of dark.
and if she uses similar dye like she used in mine, when you wash your hair, the water will probably be the same color as your dye, but don't worry it won't completely wash out.
