how do i make it so that my name shows instead of "google" for google searches?

You cant..well yes but no..

There is no way to customize GOOGLE.com, however, there are mirror sites. For example, you may find:

a site. com/GOOGLE

And this is a page that looks just like google and returns results just as google would, except HERE you can customize the wording!
Just searched "Custom Google Page" or things relating to that on Google. You'll find it.
