how do i ask him out?!?

okays so i really like this guy and he likes me. well everyone has told me to make the first move and ask him out. i think im gonna do it. and get over my fears and see what he has to say. the only problem is i dont know how to. should i do it over the phone, over a text, in person, or what??? i really want to go out with him and i think we would make a great couple. please help me and give me some advice on how to ask him out.

do you have lockers? if so id say try to get his combo and tape it in the inside otherwise you could write it to have less pressure or you could write it and have him read it right in front of you if you want to see the initial reaction but asking him in person is always amazing too
