Question Posted Thursday April 17 2008, 9:32 pm

Okay, I have to write a comedic monologue for my Drama class auditions.

I want to do on regular things that happen everyday, you know kind of like Dane Cook style. Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe give some free advice about: Theater?

go on youtube.com and look up "Ellen Degeneres". There are two "Beginning" and "Here and Now". In both, she makes the audience laugh while mentioning common, everyday things. Maybe, you'll get some ideas fom there.

Look at other comedians for ideas. Like "Dane Cook" on youtube as well.

Good Luck
