Question Posted Thursday April 17 2008, 4:01 pm

What's the rule for wearing jean jackets and jeans? Do they have to match and do they have to be the same color? I am at a loss about this.

Let's see. This is somewhat of a complicated question because sometimes mixing jean colors can look really tacky. If you're wearing really dark bottoms and have a light jean jacket that is semi-ok. If you have all light on then it's ok.. it gives you that vintage look... even if they are dark sometimes they can be compatible. the best thing is to ask a friend for their color theory. What's really hip right now is the full matching jean outfit.
