High Jump

Question Posted Saturday April 12 2008, 2:52 pm

13/f

Last year I did track for the first year at my school. I did it once at a track meet and I cleared 4 foot 8 but got second to a girl who cleared 5 foot. But now I have this problem. At track we were practicing field events and I was doing high jump but I am the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what I was last year. I couldnt even clear 4 foot and I am REALLY UPSET. I need some advice before Monday (the day of my first track meet) on how i can get over the bar. A few of my problems were dragging my feet, studder stepping, and getting my butt over the bar. If anyone could give me help from experience, a website, videos, would hlp a lot!!! Thanks in advance.

There are a bunch of sites with tips on them!
Not all are high jump related, there are others
in between. But keep looking after the first few because there are more. A few videos too.
Good luck!
