Mental illness in CHILDREN

Question Posted Saturday April 12 2008, 12:15 pm

Im doing a speech on children with mental illnesses (such as ADD, depression, Aspergers syndrome, autism and so on) and I need to use visual aids! I was thinking of maybe showing a picture of a brain and then pointing out exactly where the problems happen when children get mental illnesses but I don't even know where, but are there any ideas on how I can use as many visual aids as possible, and also.. can you find any online documentaries on children with mental illnesses? Thank you!!!!

Try searching PET Scans of brains that have those illnesses. they use a radioactive glucose that the patient takes and then scan the brain and the glucose will cause the scan to light up in different colors and areas for different levels of usuage in different sections of the brain.
