Heartbreak is one of the worst feelings and pains in the world. As for getting him to like you again there is really not much you can do. Maybe you could hang out with him and that may make him realize what he is missing out on. Or maybe try talking to him about everything, your feelings and his. You probably need to find out why you actually broke up. Don't let your friends keep questioning him that will really make things worse.
If all else fails you may just have to let go for now. You can't make yourself stop loving him I know that but maybe for now its just best to be friends. Maybe after a while he will get feelings back for you an want you back, but if not then at least you will always have a great friend there for you.
