Okay, that first person is wrong. Eating fatty or oily foods (like a greasy pizza) does NOT make you breakout. It's the oil on your SKIN, not inside of you that gets you oily. Say you got grease from a pizza on your hands then touched your face, then yes it will promote a breakout.

Avoid foods high in iodine because iodine promotes acne. these are foods like iodized salt, fish, crabs and other seafood.

Just drink plenty of water and eat a lot of veggies.

A healthy diet is good for the hair and skin, the best things to eat are a lot of fruits and vegetables, especially those higher in vitamin C.(like the citrus fruits-melons-brocolli) Also higher protien foods, like lean meat and fish. Stay away from caffine and sugar.

Also drink plenty of water to help flush those toxins out of your system.

Here's a good article:

well, they say that oily foods and foods with high fat give people breakouts. Like butter and high in oil foods. Really spicy foods also do that. But, this only happens on some people while it has no effect on others. So I guess you should aviod those types of food.
