Well. I'm not looking to lose weight, but i want to get in shape and start gainging some muscle. I play Varsity tennis for my school (yeah i'm not that old), and am so out of shape for this summer where i'll be playing at least 5 times a week at different practices.
I really want to start getting in shape, because i really wasn't all that active this winter.
Currently, I'm trying to walk/run .5-1.5 miles everyday on my treadmill because i'm that out of shape. I've been trying to lift our 2 pound weights with my forehand arm, but can't get motivated to do it for very long. Also, i've been doing about 100 situps, 50 v-ups and 25 pushups everynight because i want to work my abs for swimsuits this summer.
Can anyone give me some good exercise ideas to get in shape for summer, and how much i should do each day. Thanks a bunch :D
Make sure that over time you are increasing the time of running, stretching, and exercising. This will help you keep on getting fit. You have to challenge your body to get results.
drink lots of water, eat healthy, and the above and you will surely be fit.
