the advice shown on the right

Question Posted Thursday April 10 2008, 11:54 am

ok so you know how the advice not answered or only answered once is displayed on the right sidebar. Well I was wondering why sometimes it is shown by the subject and other times shown by how the question is started. just curious.

DangerNerd answered Thursday April 10 2008, 1:28 pm:
Sometimes a question will have either no subject at all, or a single word subject which offers little insight into the question.

In case either of those are true, the system will create a synthetic subject from the first x characters of the question body.

Not the best system, but the only way I know of to automate that job.
