Your "cherry" can be popped by a number of things, it all depends on how it sits in your vagina, I'm afraid. A tampon can do it if you're shallow enough. There will be an unpleasant "pulling" feeling when it happens though. There may or may not be blood depending on the position of it. Sometimes, the "cherry" doesn't pop all the way, and can actually be popped again.
