i use loreal true match super blendable makeup in warm natural beige. Its the perfect color and it looks great when i apply it in the morning before school, but by about the middle of the day, it gets rubbed off my chin and its all streaky and blotchy on my checks from touching my face and stuff. what kind of foundation will stay in place all day long and not rub off thats close to that color? i have like combination skin.. oily in places, but dry in others.
only people with experience with makeup, please!=]
However, I most recommend using a powder or liquid/powder foundation, as it has the softest and most natural finish. I use Palladio Wet/Dry foundation, if you live in the states, you could either get it at Longs Drugs, or Nordstrom Rack. It's the best- even when used dry (it looks like a powder, but it's a foundation). It covers up any blemishes and discolorations very well, stays put, and never looks cakey. It will not get blotchy or anything. And it is not bad for your skin.

i use the same powder! the key about applying any type of foundation / concealer was that the LIQUID is the base first. like the powder is just so that it sticks. but the liquid (aka the actual FOUNDATION) is key.
(what i used to do was i'd apply a little bit of the foundation and a lotttaaa powder and it would look so fake!)
so, i use loreal paris ideal balance balancing foundation for combination skin in beige. it's SO LIGHT, and it stays on allll dayyyy. my advice would also be to apply the foundation with a concealer brush? or some sort of a foundation brush (if something like that exists) cause applying with your fingers... a.) adds bacteria to your skin b.) adds oils to your skin c.) gets rubbed off on your fingers, not your skin, causing you to use more than you need.
