Pulled Muscle/Splits So, I could do a left foot front splits, sometimes all the way, some days an inch or two off the floor. Well, I pulled a muscle in the back of my left thigh and it pretty much hurts to reach down and touch my toes. I can touch my toes but that's it, and I could put my palms on the floor. But, anywhos, how long would it take for my muscle to heal and would I still be able to do a left foot front split? Because I heard something about pulled muscle = not able to do flexible stuff with that leg anymore..

well no one can really say for sure, because we cant see the severity of the pulled mucsle. your best bet is to go to your doctor, or a sports medicine specialist. they do cheerleading, football, etc, so they see this kind of stuff a lot. dont attempt a split just yet, you might end up making it worse in the long run. time for healing varies, depending on how badly youve pulled it. hope i helped, good luck! -ali 16/f ]
