Unusual Bleeding

Question Posted Saturday April 5 2008, 10:53 pm

Okay so i have a yeast infection, and just used the monistat one dose night or day ovule insert. I inserted it normally, no pain or anything, but when I removed the inserter there was blood on it. Not a lot of blood, but there was definitely red spotting on the inserter, about the same color as the last days of your period. I have just finished my period about a week ago so I know the bleeding isn't my period. Also when I go to the bathroom there is no blood on the toilet paper. So im kinda confused as to why there was blood on the inserter when I removed it. Any ideas? I would call my doctor but it is too late right now (her office is closed), and I'd like to see if anyone has any idea as to what could be causing this while I wait for morning to come so that i can ask my doctor tomorrow.

Thanks for any help.
