facebook picture uploader.
facebook's picture uploader will not work for me. i read to wait a few minutes and the downlaod box should pop up, but nothing happens. i have IE7, and usually the prompt at the top of the screen will pop up and ask "do you want to download _____?" even that doesn't come up. i can use the simple uploader, but it would take forever to upload all the pictures i want on there.
i know i need "active x control", so i went to download it myself, but i couldn't really figure out which one i needed.
any help here?

There should be a yellow bar that appears at the top of IE whenever it wants an activex control. Click on that and allow it to install and it should work.
If that doesn't help then you might want to try another browser. I'd recommend firefox. Get it from:
www.getfirefox.com

my suggestion is to get rid of internet explorer and get safari. it is much faster and has all necessary plugins. just go to apple.com and search safari. since u are using windows, make sure to download the windows version. hope this helps (ps. firefox will probably work as well, but i suggest safari) IE really is the worst browser to use. the slowest and least reliable.
