Protected but late

Question Posted Saturday March 29 2008, 11:16 pm

Is it common for your period to be late after having sex??

It was protected and there were definately no holes in the condom afterwards, i checked. But my period is still late.

Im not worrying like "OMG OMG AM I PREGNANT AM I PREGNANT?" Im simply just enquiring :)

The sex doesn't have anything to do with it being late unless obviously you were pregnant. Periods can be late for multiple reasons such as stress and increased physical activity. So I bet you'll get your period soon.

Common no, can it happen? Yes. Worrying about it may not help. The best thing to do is take a home pregnancy test, and if it is negative I bet you will start in a day or two.
