does anyone else think that britney spears would be a little more normal if we left her alone?
i think it would drive me somewhat insane too, if i weren't able to leave my house without a reporter being 5 feet behind me and writing a story about every step i take...

When you become a celebrity I think its safe
to say that part of it is learning to live in
the spotlight you craved. Its the price you pay.
You can't want all this attention one minute
and expect those fans to turn it off when it
isn't convenient for you. Not saying celebs
shouldn't have some private life, but I doubt
that caused her melt down.
She was young when she started out. Her
popularity may have started to dwindle.
I don't know, I'm not a fan. But starting
that young, never knowing who is a true
friend and who just likes you for the fame
you might get them, Having every detail of
your life on the news with the world making
comments, may be to much for one her age.
It takes a mentally strong person to live
in that world.
You get what you get paid for. :)

I think we were/are some of it, but Britney has her own personal issues that we probably don't even know about.
It'd drive me incredibly crazy, too, I agree with you. But some of the stunts that she pulls are all within herself.
I mean, for all we know, she deals with a lot more than we could imagine. (Most, if all, celebrities do.)
