ok.. me and my boyfriend are both virgins right..
and we want to be able 2 have a condom around JUST INCASE yah know..
and we are both 2 afraid 2 go 2 our parents cuz they would FLIP OUT!!! but we are not sure of what the legal age of buying condoms in texas is..
can anyone help me me out without criticizeing me on the subject??
Denying someone the right to buy condoms is denying someone the right to safe sex, which is far dumber than letting minors go without the condoms and risk getting pregnant even more. [ Mr_Skittles's advice column | Ask Mr_Skittles A Question ]

I heard once that if the actual act of buying condoms really freaks you out, that's a sign that you should really think about whether you should have sex or not. I'm not criticizing you or anything, but I just thought it was a useful statement. But yeah, anyone can buy them. [ uisforukelele's advice column | Ask uisforukelele A Question ]
BlahBlahBlah answered Wednesday March 26 2008, 4:48 pm: Yeah I agree with the other person...i'm 99% positive that there is no age limit...especailly because (at least in New York) they are out in the open, and usually if there is an age limit for something its behind a case (at least in stroes like CVS, and walgreens) like if you notice the cigarettes aren't out in the open. Also, i've had friends buy them without a problem.
queenhearts answered Wednesday March 26 2008, 3:14 am: There's no legal age that I'm aware of. By now, since many young teens are having sex... something would have been brought up already. Also it would be a bad idea to have a legal age because that won't stop teenagers from having sex. Condoms are sold in many grocery and corner stores. It's out in the open for anyone to take and there's no sign stating you have to be a certain age to purchase them.
