I take tennis and golf! I have been taking golf for a longer and it kinda interfers with tennis. I kinda use a golf swing for tennis! How can I stop this? Thanks in advance!
It'll be very hard to play both sports because your brain will struggle to send the right signals to your nervous system to "program" the right muscles to make the right motions.
The only way that you can actually play both sports without accidentally making a tennis swing in golf or a golf swing in tennis is by attempting to "manipulate" the way that your brain controls your muscles - make your brain memorize the different motions.
Before you go to sleep, practice swinging an imaginary tennis racket - your brain will be processing the correct way to swing throughout the entire time that you sleep. Sounds strange, but it actually works...
Another way is, when playing tennis, pretend that you're hitting a baseball with a baseball bat to get that upward motion and momentum working out for you.
When golfing, think of a hockey stick swing.
Just thinking of the general idea of how to swing the racket or club at the time will help you manipulate your brain into thinking the correct way at the correct time.
If you need anymore help, feel free to ask.
Good Luck! :)

P.S. If I confused you, I apologize - this is the only way that I can describe how to have your brain distinguish the different patterns of swinging the racket or club. [ mariahneu's advice column | Ask mariahneu A Question ]
