What was it?

Question Posted Tuesday March 18 2008, 4:53 am

Well a couple of years ago on my old laptop, my brother installed something/some program, and it was a little creature, or whatever(I could change it) walking around on my desktop, and I could drag it anywhere, and so on.

Does anyone know what this thing is, and where I could download it?
I already asked my brother, but he said he didn't remember.

Thankss.

Desktop pets are useless, they make your computer slower, and they often come with malware. I don't recommend them.

It was probably the office assistant from Microsoft Office. It's originally a paper clip, but you can change it to a cat, dog, wizard etc. It only shows up when you have a Microsoft program open though. I hope this helps.

My dear friend,
Not sure, but it sounds like an office assistant from Microsoft Office. Try to install one of those.
