i just go home from my bestfriends brothers birthday party. it was so much fun well me her and her cousin stayed outside pretty much. me and her cousin flirted the whole time lol i loved it but im never gona see him again. this always happens last 2 parties both times i got close to a different guy and never see them again and i end up crushed. we even have nick names for eachother lol. im in 8th grade hes a freshman. grrr i love him but i dont wana ask my friend if she could invite him somewhere shes just the kind of person who loves to play match maker. i just dont want that i wana do it myself but it would be so awkward dating my bestfriends cousin. out of all the guys ive met i might have a chance with him. that would be weird for her to me and him. ive never had a boyfriend i just always didnt want to. what do i do?
Maybe it's good that she'll play matchmaker for both of you - but if you don't want her to do that, I'd ask her nicely if she could just leave it to you and him to work things out.
But I'd continue to keep flirting and being nice to him if you see him. It sounds like something promising. :)
Good luck on your efforts! :D
UPDATED ANSWER:
Well, it differs for everyone.
A couple months ago, one of my friends had a thing for my older cousin, but he was 19 and she was 13, so obviously it was just a crush.
If I were you, I'd ask her and she if she'd feel about it.
If she feels strange about it, ask her if she'd feel odd about you two just being friends.
Maybe, by doing that, both of you will become more comfortable around each other and she will also be more comfortable with the idea of you two going out.
