Church Love Dilemma

ok so like 3 months ago my family and i started going to this new Christian church and well we liked it. there's this guy and he's very nice and sweet I think I might like him but Im not sure if its right because i met him at church..besides my dad wouldnt approve b/c im 17 and he's 22. Should I forget about him? or should I go for it? if yea How??

It's fine to have a crush. Keep talking to him and see how strongly you feel. If it's just some small feelings then drop it and find someone a little closer to your age. If there are strong feelings there, go for him! Its not bad to meet a boy at church just the age may be a problem thats why you should see if hes worth the trouble with dad. Hope I helped!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with dating within church. In fact, it should be encouraged, if you're a religious person; that way you can have one of the most important things in your life, in common.
That age difference isn't horrible, and your dad doesn't have to be all over it the first second you ever talk to this boy. Hang out with him in a group of other church kids for a while, maybe invite him and a couple other people over to your house, or to go hang out somewhere. Once your dad gets used to seeing you two around each other, start casually mentioning how much fun he is. Your dad will think he kinda has an idea of what this kid is all about, and is less likely to disapprove.
