ok so like 3 months ago my family and i started going to this new Christian church and well we liked it. there's this guy and he's very nice and sweet I think I might like him but Im not sure if its right because i met him at church..besides my dad wouldnt approve b/c im 17 and he's 22. Should I forget about him? or should I go for it? if yea How??
killerface answered Tuesday March 11 2008, 11:52 am: There's absolutely nothing wrong with dating within church. In fact, it should be encouraged, if you're a religious person; that way you can have one of the most important things in your life, in common.
That age difference isn't horrible, and your dad doesn't have to be all over it the first second you ever talk to this boy. Hang out with him in a group of other church kids for a while, maybe invite him and a couple other people over to your house, or to go hang out somewhere. Once your dad gets used to seeing you two around each other, start casually mentioning how much fun he is.
