i just got the guy i likes phone number, i was like we can be texting buddies and hes like yea, and we exchanged numbers.
how long should i wait before i text him, and what should i say.

you should wait about 3 or 4 days, he has your number too.. it works to ways he can text you too. if he doesn't in about 3 days, go for it, keep at a simple "hey, whatcha doing?" or "whats up?" yeah, agree with the other people, don't get upset if he doesn't text back... there right, its just a boy.

I would say anywhere from 3 days to 1 week. Then you can casually just text him and say 'hey, whats up?', and like the previous columnist said, don't text in between, and don't expect an immediate text back. Don't take anything personally, it's just a guy.
