1% ORGANIC MILK.

Okay I'm on a diet.

and I drink Organic milk no matter what but I started drinking 1% does that help my losing weight at all or is it wasting my time. i'm 15 if that helps.

I agree with Laura. Because we tend to drink it in fairly large amounts, milk is one food where the fat percentage is very important. While we consider 5% meat low fat, we dont often eat half a kilo of it in one sitting. Drinking half a litre of milk is quite common though.

So, yes low fat milk definately helps keep you trim by limiting your intake of calories and of saturated fats. And it has less cholesterol too.

Yes, switching to a lower-fat milk decreases your fat intake. I always drink skim or 1%, and since I drink so much milk I can guarantee that if I was drinking whole milk I'd be 15 pounds heavier.

So no, you're not wasting your time, unless of course you're having an entire package of Oreos with that 1% =)
