From what you said, she is your best friend, and she's kinda sounding like she's maybe feeling a lack in closeness that best friends share?
At least that's what I gather from it.
That's why I say see if it helps to spend some time that is just the two of you. You don't like seeing her tired, and sounds like she may be doing that just to have that time with you that isn't shared with other friends.
