lip piercings so basically.. i was informed that i get "keyloids"
since i got my ears pierced for the second time a couple years ago, and scar tissue formed by them and it caused a bump. Which the doctor said was a keyloid?.. and he said the older you get the more prone you are to getting them or soemthing? I'm 16.
I'm wondering though, would that happen if I got it on mmy liip? does anyone know about keyloids or have them adn know stuff?

Every peircing I've ever had (ears 7 times, nose, bellybutton and nose again) has had a keyloid. They're annoying, but mine went away after about 2 months or so (except my ear cartilage, which was about 6 months until it went away). The key is keeping the area clean, so it doesnt get infected/red, which makes things a lot worse. ]
well i have had my nose pierced twice, and actualy just a week ago i took it out, im 16 and also get these annoying keloids, on my ear also, and i also have scar tissue - i cant tell you how or when they go awayy, but im 16 and still getting them on my nose . but actualy, it seems to me that it is sometimes caused by irritation. so if you try not to touch it, keep it clean, no irritation it could help, and there is actualy a solution, for keloids that help reduce them.
hope i helped
