try eating something easy, like pretzels, to help ease it down, and try to not eat anything toooo greasy.

that should help calm it down.

and try to drink more water on a day to day basis.

I'm thinking maybe you have a stomach ulcer.

The main symptom of an ulcer is a burning or gnawing feeling in the stomach (pain), lasting from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Excessive alcohol consumption can lead to developing an ulcer so if you drink a lot (or drank a lot) that would really explain things. Alcohol can upset an ulcer sometimes so it's possible that it flares up when you begin drinking.

Ulcers can be caused from things like anti-inflammatory medications (asprin), cigarette smoking, and even stress.

Here is a good link to tell you more about ulcer symptoms and causes:

If you suspect you may have an ulcer you should definately make a doctor's appointment. I wish you luck on relieving your stomach pains.
