What would be a good colour that would represent Medusa, or be her complimentary colour?

I would think green, not only because of the snakes, but also because green is considered to be an "evil" color in the way of archetypes. I looked up color archetypes and here are some more:

Black: evil, melancholy, chaos, mystery, the unknown, and death
Red: blood, sacrifice, and disorder
Green: death, decay

These are all "negative", which is what I'm assuming you're looking for.

I usually think Medusa is a green or gray character. So I'll have to agree with a dark purple or a dark green as a complimentary colour..
