this guy likes me and we're sorta friends but all of his friends keep encouraging me to get with him but id ahat to do because i dont like him. i dont want to be mean

You should just be honest with him and dont listen to his friends because you dont want to be with someone were you feel no attraction. Because your not being mean by telling him the truth your only mean if you let it go on the way it is because you will only be giving him false hope.

I am going to tell you what NOT to do: Do NOT tell him that you like him, only because his friends are trying to encourage you to date him. You would only be leading him on, which will make things much worse for him. So you need to kindly tell him or just his friends, if they're the only ones saying anything, that you like him as a good friend, but you would like to keep it that way. You're better off as friends. And that should put an end to your situation without being mean or rude.

just talk to him when your alone, and tell him how all his friends were doing this and no offence but you like him as a friend but you just dont see him in more than a friend way. and tell him your sorry. then both of you can just stay friends without any pressure. hope i helped :)
