myspace messup

Question Posted Sunday February 24 2008, 1:24 am

I'm trying to make a new account on MySpace.com and after I fill all out the first part of the sign up thing and when I click sign up it says "We’re sorry. Based on the information you have submitted to us, you are ineligible to register on MySpace.com."
Why is it doing this? I'm 16 and have my birthday, e-mail, password and everything else set up right but it still wont let me sign up. Is this MySpace messing up or am I doing something wrong?

Have you deleted your old account?
Does your new account use the same email address as the old one?
If it does-that could be the problem.
Try using a different email address.
If that doesnt work, I would wait a few hours- it could be something on their end.
